Fruity Cloud Parfait Recipe

This Fruity Cloud Parfait is my go-to dessert for every occasion! It’s light, delicious, and full of flavor while being healthy, thanks to a simple combination of angel food cake, greek yogurt, fat-free cool whip, and fresh berries. Plus, it’s super easy to prepare in your favorite casserole dish, making it perfect for family gatherings, parties, or a sweet treat any time of day! Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • Angel Food Cake (1 store-bought or homemade)

  • Greek Yogurt (4 individual cups or about 32 oz. of your favorite fruit-flavored yogurt, like strawberry, blueberry, or peach. I use the Light + Fit Nonfat Gluten-Free Strawberry Greek Yogurt!)

  • Fat-Free Cool Whip (1 container)

  • Fresh Berries (Choose your favorites – strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or a mixed berry blend!)

  • Casserole Dish

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Cool Whip Mixture:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 large container of fat-free Cool Whip and 4 individual cups of Greek yogurt (or about 32 oz. of yogurt). You can use fruit-flavored Greek yogurt like strawberry, blueberry, or peach to complement the berries.

    • Mix the Cool Whip and yogurt together until smooth and well combined. If you'd like a sweeter mix, add a drizzle of honey or a pinch of Stevia to taste.

    2. Layer the Parfait:

    • First Layer: Break half of the angel food cake into pieces and layer it at the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish.

    • Second Layer: Spread half of the Cool Whip and yogurt mixture over the cake pieces, smoothing it out evenly.

    • Third Layer: Add a generous layer of fresh berries on top of the yogurt mixture.

    • Repeat Layers:

      • Second Layer: Add the remaining pieces of angel food cake on top of the berries.

      • Third Layer: Spread the remaining Cool Whip and yogurt mixture over the second cake layer.

      • Final Layer: Top with the remaining fresh berries for a beautiful, colorful finish.

    3. Chill and Serve:

    • Refrigerate the Fruity Cloud Parfait for at least 2-3 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to blend and the dessert to set properly.

    4. Enjoy!:
